Details about La Ermita, its area and possible activities.

La Ermita is located in the municipality of Torrepacheco, Murcia (Spain); close by the Mar Menor and Mar Mediterraneo (near San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera), and also near the border with Alicante and the coastal towns of La Torre de la Horadada and Campoamor.

The facilities at La Ermita consist of a study-workshop with rustic-style and a restored chapel –as a gallery-, located on four thousand square meters land with typical vegetation (bugambillas, palm trees, taray and lemon trees).

La Ermita is located very near from the town of Balsicas, with train station and the stop of the Madrid-Cartagena Talgo. Beside the highway Murcia-San Javier and 15 km from the town of San Javier and its airoport. The Alicante airport is about 30 to 45 min from La Ermita.

The municipalities and nearby housing estates that we recommend for accommodation are all coastal - either by the Mar Menor or the Mar Mayor (Mediterranean); enabling participants to relax and enjoy their leisure time by the sea; taste good fish and other local specialties; and play sports as swimming, sailing, windsurfing, tennis, paddle tennis or horseback among others.

Between July 5 and 26, it takes place in Cartagena “ La Mar de Músicas Festival - La Mar de Arte - La Mar de Letras - La Mar de Cine "; and we recommend to attend both for the quality of the guest artists (concerts and exhibitions), and for the unique space for exhibitions and concerts - as The Old Cathedral, the Arab castle or Old Byzantine wall-.
