This is an hand made process requiring a total immersion in the work, care and long work hours. The development of a limited number of serigraphs copyright requires deeply knowing the technique and effects of overlapping and inks.
For each color, positives need to be worked by hand (using opaque ink on a transparent or translucent acetate); a screen for each color needs to be prepared; the ink colors have to be carefully selected to be printed -playing with effects and qualities that eventually lead to a limited serie of silkscreen artwork, signed and numbered one to one by the artist-.
It is therefore a work of a great artistic value and an example of cooperation to enrich the result and these pieces are suitable for collectors and institutions seeking the highest level in editing original artwork.
La Ermita edits original artwork in different formats for companies and institutions, collectors, art galleries or individuals.
For companies and institutions it is offered the possibility of commissioning custom series, where it is available the selection of artist and artwork, format, number of inks (colors) and type of paper, according to customer needs.
